I’m Sam - the founder and astrologer behind The Luminary View.  Long-time psychology nerd, I’ve always loved personality tests and trying to understand why we humans do what we do. Along with being highly empathetic, my love for Nature & my affinity for something beyond us, I naturally gravitated toward Astrology. Though I‘ve read horoscopes for fun and guzzled down relationship compatibility reports for years, it wasn’t until June of 2022 that I started to actually take it seriously (any fellow skeptics out there? ✋) This is partly because I simply didn’t know there was more to Astrology than Sun signs. Come to find out that our birthdays are the blueprint for a much larger picture…

It was through Rising Woman’s “Become Your Own Astrologer” course, and later, the Mystic Astrologer Apprenticeship under Andrea Dupuis, that I learned the incredible nuances of this divine wisdom. Professionally trained as a counselor & in doing my own healing work, I’ve known and felt the power of  holding space for someone. An Astrology reading has the potential to offer this combined with something I refer to as “accurate reflection”: having your own truth mirrored back to you. 🤯

Exploring your natal chart is one way to access a truth we already know deep in our bones. Sometimes when we hear someone else - outside of us - give voice to that truth, the next piece of the puzzle can finally click into place. This is how I aspire to utilize Astrology & what I hope to translate for my clients. I don’t like or offer black & white predictions because I think these questions ultimately stem from a place of fear; the true magic of Astrology liberates,  inspires & empowers us to lead the lives our souls have already been reaching for.
